This project has been going on since late 2017 and comes from the Center for Common Ground of Virginia, a non-partisan, non-profit organization working against voter suppression in communities of color. In 2020 the target states are North Carolina, Texas, Arizona, Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia, and actions will include phone banks and sending postcards among others.
Locally, an interfaith group including the Jewish Federation, the two Unitarian Universalist Rochester churches, and RocACTS are collaborating to support Reclaim Our Vote.
