Has anyone had experience with their congregation subscribing to community solar? There are a lot of them out there, which one is the best? Have you encountered any surprises or problems?
Signed up our home and 5 other members of my church using the Referral code IPCSolar. So that means that we have generated sign up incentives of a total of $400 for our church and $275 for RAICA. See a RAICA community solar member to find out how your church can do the same and much more (we are just getting started). So far I have received 5 months of credits (totaling $400.52) and I have paid for 3 of those months of solar power (there is a 2-3 month delay in being charged) a total of $245.84. My savings over 3 months was $27.31, but the best thing is that I know that my electricity for all of these months has come almost totally from locally generated solar. My solar electricty is from a solar farm located in Spencerport.
