RAICA Family Picnic

Join us in a family-friendly summer picnic!

Bring a vegan or vegetarian dish to pass with ingredients listed.

Please participate in plastic free July and see if you can omit all plastics

or at least single use plastics in your picnic.

Bring everything you need and remove all trash when you leave.

Join Antonius Chess Jr, National Resource Educator, in a tree walk at 1:30.

Bring fribees, badminton, or other games, especially if your kids come.

Talk about RAICA; sign up for no obligation free site membership;

hear about plans for the coming year.

Please note:  Alcohol is not permitted in the city park and use results in hefty fines.

Directions: The Rose Garden is at the corner of Driving Park Avenue and Lake Avenue. The entrance is off Driving Park Avenue, across the street from the Maplewood YMCA. There is ample parking. Although picnic tables are present you are encouraged to bring your own chairs. Look for signs to the picnic site. You can stay after the picnic for more hiking and rose garden viewing.
